Workshop on Under- and Over-Determined Systems of Algebraic or Differential Equations

Topics

The workshop deals with all aspects of under- and over-determined systems: completion, exact or approximate solutions, structure analysis, symbolic and/or numerical treatment, Gröbner or involutive bases for polynomial or differential systems, differential algebraic equations (DAEs), symmetry analysis, applications in all fields of mathematics or sciences.

Purposes

The workshop will cover all kinds of computational approaches to under- or over-determined systems. Submissions are expected on theory and applications, algorithms and software. The workshop will be of an interdisciplinary nature and intends to bring together researchers from many different fields in order to foster communication between different communities.

Submissions

Submit either a full paper or an extended abstract to one of the program committee chairs. Submissions are not formally refereed and can thus be submitted later elsewhere. Accepted submissions will appear in locally printed proceedings. Authors of outstanding submissions will be invited to contribute to a special issue of the AAECC journal.

Submission by regular mail: Send two copies.
Submission by E-mail (preferable): Send a L^AT_EX-file and a postscript-file (for comparison only).

Please use the registration form. The registration fee is Euro 60.
